Who We Are

Hampton Methodist Church is a friendly and welcoming church. We sing a mixture of old, traditional and new songs and hymns, led by our group of musicians.

Our Sunday morning services take place at 10:30am and last approximately one hour. Services may be led by our pastor, Ben Haslam, a minister from another church, or a Methodist local preacher.

On the first Sunday of every month we have All-Age Worship, which is for children (and adults) of all ages. These services are designed to convey the Christian message in an accessible and inspiring way. At other services children are invited to join Discovery Club in the large hall where they can enjoy arts & crafts, interactive story telling of the Bible, discussion, craft activities and prayer.

We also have a play area with toys, games and puzzles at the rear of the church for the very young, where you can sit and listen to the service whilst your child plays.

All our Sunday services are followed by refreshments in the church hall where you will have the chance to meet members of the congregation and enjoy a warm welcome. On occasions there is a Fair Trade stall selling products such as coffee, tea, biscuits and chocolate.

Friday Focus Church lunches are held fortnightly in term time and are open to all.

During the week, house groups meet on a fortnightly basis for 1½-2 hours of discussion, fellowship, Bible study and prayer.

We are part of the Teddington Methodist Circuit of Churches and a member of Churches Together Around Hampton.
